Download APK from Google Play using APK Downloader [100% Working]

Now it is very simple, easy and quick to download APK free application from Google Play through PC.
It is a direct operation without any hassel by Portable Google Chrome.

So Lets go the main tab :

Requirements:

1.PORTABLE GOOGLE CHROME (For PC / Laptop)

Lets Start... 

Step 1: Download Portable Version of Google Chrome 20 and Extract it on desktop and run it on your PC.

Step 2:  Download and install the APK Downloader Chrome Extension on portable google chrome.

Step 3: Set it up - Android Device-Id

To get your Android Device-Id, type in the dialer of your phone...

... and you will get the "GTalk Service Monitor" screen like the following. Search for "DEVICE-ID:". Everything that comes after "android-", that is your Device-Id.

If your device doesn't support on dialer to show the AID (Android ID) then please download the Device ID APK and  send it to your device through Data cable or Bluetooth.

                                      

Seep 4. Sign in Google Play and open the APK Downloader options page.

                           

Step 5. Enter email and device ID on Options page of APK downloader Login and just save the setting.

Step 6.Then get the APK downloader option from Tools >Extension>Option...

Step 7. Set your G-mail address and Android Device ID & get login.

 

Step 8. NOW GO THE THE PLAY STORE USING PORTABLE GOOGLE CHROME:  Google Play

For Example type skype in Google Play Search bar and you will show a APK icon file in the top most right side of your browser.

Now Click on that APK icon and your desied download will start.

Updated version of the APK Downloader Chrome Extension

Problem to add your account  to APK down-loader page ?? Don't worry just do it step by seep .....

Due to some modification and restriction of Google Web Store former APK down-loader will not work in the previous version of Google Chrome. 

This is an updated (and slightly modified) version of redphx's awesome Google Chrome extension APK Downloader. It allows you to download APKs from the Play Store webpage via your desktop browser directly onto your computer likely of my previous post which was posted dated on June 02, 2012. 

Don't worry, am giving the solution of latest version of Google Chrome which is holding version Chrome 21.  

So, I checked again the Manifest version 1 support schedule and I found that I was wrong there. Manifest version 1 was announced deprecated with the release of Chrome 18, but will be partitially supported until "early 2013".

Nethertheless, the original APK Downloader (v1.2.1) does not for me (any longer) since my Chrome was update to 21.0.1180.60 m. The extension constantly throwscontent security policy exceptions when trying to download any App, which prevents the extension from working at all. Additionally, this is the error message I get on the extension page:

So: If APK Downloader v1.2.1 stopped working for you, feel free to use this updated version.

Get Started - Download
To install the extension the steps are as follows: download and extract the following zip archive to your computer.

Direct download link: apkdownloader-1.3.1.zip 

How to set up?

After you extracted the downloaded zip file to your computer, open Google Chrome and go to the extension page; you can copy into the Url bar:chrome://chrome/extensions/

Load it

Now, enable "Developer mode" and load the "APK Downloader"-extension from the directory where you extracted it to.


Set it up - Google-Account

To be able to download from the Play Store, you need to authenticate all requests. Therefore you need to "log in to your Google Account" at the extension's option page. 

On the extension's options page, log in with your Google-Account (email-address and password) - the same Account that you used with your device! Also, you will need your Android Device-Id (which is part of the algorithm to generate a valid request key).



Set it up - Android Device-Id

To get your Android Device-Id, type in the dialer of your phone...

... and you will get the "GTalk Service Monitor" screen like the following. Search for "DEVICE-ID:". Everything that comes after "android-", that is your Device-Id.

The extension is now available and ready set up. However, you need to follow 1 more step to actually use it; you need to disable SSL warnings. Please read my previous post how to disable SSL error warning.

Easy process to download apk files on PC from Google Play

Now it is very easy to download APK files directly to the PC.So doing this process there are some issue to be consider.

Requirements:
1. Google Chrome Browser 17 or later
2. Android Phone
3.G-mail account
4. Internet Connection

 Google Chrome extension allows you to download Android APK files from Android Market to your PC for APK Downloader

Download and Install: APK Downloader 1.2.1 *USE AT YOUR OWN RISK*

Use at your own risk. I’ll not take responsibility for anything happen to you or your account.


                     
Click continue to download and afted download click the downloader to add the APK Downloader.

* Please read and follow this instruction carefully before using, or it WON’T WORK *

                                 

Click add to add the APK Downloader to the browser. Then if you wanna to download any Apk files it will show SSL error. To remove SSL error warning follow the instruction given as below.

Now, you will need to follow the solution step by step as provide to use it. 

Step I. Disable SSL error warnings

If you don’t do this step, the extension WILL NEVER WORK.

Below instruction is for Windows users. For OS X and Linux users, please read this post ( replace --remote-debugging-port=9222 in the example with --ignore-certificate-errors )

1. Right click on Chrome shortcut, select “Properties”

2. Switch to “Shortcut” tab. In “Target” field, insert [space]--ignore-certificate-errors[space]--allow-running-insecure-content at the end. Once you have that finished, click “OK” .

It will look something like this:
C:\…\chrome.exe --ignore-certificate-errors --allow-running-insecure-content    or
“C:\…\chrome.exe” --ignore-certificate-errors --allow-running-insecure-content

Restart Chrome and open it again with that shortcut

3. Open APK Downloader Options page. If your screen looks like the right picture ( the warning box is gone ), then you disabled SSL error warnings successfully

                                 
Step II. Enter email and device ID on Options page

1. There are two ways to get Email and Device ID

a. Easy way: install this Device ID app, it will show you your emails and Device ID

b. Difficult way: Open dial pad, call *#*#8255#*#* ( 8255 = TALK ). If it opens “GTalk Service Monitor”, find lines that begin with JID and Device ID. Your email is JID, and your device id is a string that after android- prefix

For example: if it shows android-1234567890abcdef , then your device ID is 1234567890abcdef

Do not type in random email or device ID, it won’t work

2. Enter your email’s password, then press Login. If everything is ok, now you can use APK Downloader

Step III. Start using

After finished two steps above, you can start using APK Downloader. Open Android Market, view any FREE apps ( for example: Real Player ), then press the APK Downloader icon on address bar ( see screenshot )

IV. FAQs:

• Is is against Android Market’s ToS?- I’m afraid that it is. Please read Section 3.3 for more information. So again, you at your own risk.
• Where is the Options page?
  - Click on the Wrench icon on the toolbar, go to Tools -> Extensions. Find APK Downloader. At the end of its description, you’ll see a link to Options page.
• Why do I have to disable SSL error warnings first?- This extension needs to send data to https://android.clients.google.com/market/api/ApiRequest . If you don’t disable that warning, Chrome will display an error page, and there is no way to make this extension work.
• Is it safe to disable SSL error warnings?
  - It’s safe if you know what you’re doing. Please notice that it only disable SSL warnings, not disable SSL protocol.
  But I recommend that you should create two separate Chrome shortcuts. One with and one without --ignore-certificate-errors flag.
